Northwest Meet -- Feeler

bs00clk and I have been talking about setting up a Northwest meet and were wondering how many people would be interested and where we should hold it? The two of us are in the Seattle area and we have noticed a few more have joined the forums that live in the area and it would be nice to put faces to the names. In addition, we are wondering how far out people would be interested in driving in from? Eastern WA (3 hrs), Vancouver, BC (2+ hrs), Portland, OR (3 hrs)?

Personally, I think late spring or early summer would be nice, but then again it all depends on timing for everyone.

Yes, I know this is kind of early to start talking about this for spring or summer, but I finally started walking/driving again yesterday after breaking my ankle 16 weeks ago. Therefore, I am just a little excited to get back to driving my whip.

Let us know what you think for timing and location.

I'd be down for a meet up during that time frame. Assuming us W210 boys are welcome.

SIR is now just called PR or Pacific Raceways, I am hoping to do some track events this year with my new car, the 500e is a pig and not suitable for track use.

Its a good idea to solicit all MB owners to attend, we would be a better turnout that way.

I do. I've only had mine for a couple weeks. Just got the 19's on it the other day. Hopefully I'll get some time to drop it in the next week or so.
I'm up for a meet! Is there any forum for NW MBZ guys?

Mr Pie is right, I bought my car in Bellevue/Seattle. The people that were selling here in Portland at the time were overpricing their cars. But I bought it almost a year ago, so who knows, it could have came from the person you are thinking of.

Ya I hate taking my car downtown, especially with the construction that they've been doing. I've done really well and have only curbed my rims once so far. But I baby the hell out of my car too. Where downtown do you work?

i like your rims! did they come with your car?? i'm done with buying rims for my car, i know i'll just mess them up. my first car was a clean little civic coupe and i made the stupid mistake of buying 2000 dollar rims for those and curbing the **** out of them and that was 2K down the drain....

i work at the nordstrom downtown in the Chanel boutique.
anyone want to buy their wives or gf's a Chanel bag? call me! hehehe

yeahh.. i've been buying purses and haven't done anything to my car other than put a grill on it. what the hell do you do to a a mercedes anyway? lol i shouldn't ask that question......

Thank you! They were on the car when I bought it, which was nice, because I didn't have to buy wheels first. You could always just buy replicas which are way cheaper, and if you curb them pretty bad it wouldn't be such a bad thing, or just get tires that are a little wider that stick out further than the rim, that way if you curb you'll get the tire instead. Thats what I did when I got new tires and it works!

On another note, I didn't know that there was a Chanel boutique inside Nordtroms, I knew there was one in Saks, cuz I go to the Gucci boutique often I have a purse obsession as well, but my car has become another obsession. One of these days I'll break down and buy a Chanel, but for now I can't get away from Gucci!
