It could be any springs because spring pads can make the lowest springs sit really high like this car is sitting. So your pretty much in a guessing game but like Hersh said they could be Eibachs because they sit the highest on the market.

i just guessed eibachs cuz ive heard of many times with people gettin an uneven drop with them ...too high in front compared to the rear.... but yeah as CLK FAN said..it obviously depends on springs pads and trunk weight as well so its jus a guessin game...
i have H&R springs...#1e pad in front...#4 clk in rear with like 100 lb of audio in the trunk...came out just how i wanted it and nice and even front and rear..

the guy told me all he did was swap out his pads up front for #1 pads, and the rears to #2 pads....he said he did it because he didnt want to deal with buying a camber and toe kit after buyng lowering springs. wot do you guys think with that with my 20's

what size is factory tho ? coz MB dealer won't tell me, they sad i have to tell them what i want, it comes(pads) 1-5 diff size 9-21 mm. so #1 would be 9mm?? what #4 clk is ? lol
plz advice with any info

Don't take my word for it but I think from the factory all of our cars come with #4 in front and #3 in the rears. I'm not sure but I think that's what my car had.

It's hard to find anyone who will tell you what you have from factory. The only way to find out is to take them out which isn't worth it unless you are going to put new springs in.
Don't take my word for it but I think from the factory all of our cars come with #4 in front and #3 in the rears. I'm not sure but I think that's what my car had.

hmmm, trying to decide whether to change springs or just pads n shocks on my 55....so that's w/ pads but no springs. hmmm, this thing sure does handle well now. wonder if i can deal w/ that much gap

and as for the spring pads...it varies for every CLK..theres not a size that is given for every CLK or year or anything...i think it depends on your factory options etc....you dont have to take the springs out to check...but you can raise the car up and stick your hand in there and count the little dot thingies that are stikin out...that gives u ur springpad size...
