Angry Guys need your help here.

Actually this happened last Friday but I never got the chance to ask any of you here. Here is the whole story, I sent my car to my dealer due to fuel indicator problem and some other problems. By the end of the day, I drove my car home and saw a HUGE ding on the front right fender. Then, I immediately drove back to the dealer and told my service representative. He told me that he would take care of that by just knocking the dented part from inside out. Do you guys think that it would be perfect by just knocking it out? I was thinking to get an estimate from nearby body shop and ask him to pay. What do you guys think?

I would see how the dealer handle this first, if the result does not satisfy you then take your car to the bodyshop you know and have them fix it for you.

Talking

My dealer in Fla. has a section with a guy that only fixes dents, dings, etc., only from the inside out. He does a pretty good job. When he is done, you can't tell where was it.
Hopefully your dealer can do the same.

First, get in writing that they will fix it.
Second, let them try to fix it. If it works, great! If not, you have in writing that they will fix it. If need be, you can then have them pay to fix it.

If the ding has no crease in the paint then you are fine. I have dings removed in my car and I couldn't even tell the difference. As long this is done by a specialist and not a mechanic. In my area my dealer use a company called "Ding Man" and last time it cost me $40.00 for 2 dings on 1 door(my old E430). But if there is a crease in the paint, you will need to repaint the fender. Good luck.

Alright, I need your help once again. Let me break down the whole story to make it clearer.

My car used to be really low that my rear wheels are hitting the fender and something called the vapor line pipe (I'm not sure I get this one right, I might want to edit the name if I am wrong) was broken.

The next morning, I drove my car to Mercedes telling them my problem. Then my service representative told me that he was going to quote me the final price later that day. At 3 pm he called me explaining every part that I needed to replace. The parts were not that expensive - 500 or so, but it was the labor that shocked me - 17 hrs of work which costed 2100.

I then contacted my auto shop and they told me that they were going to take care of my car at a much lower cost. I then drive my car back from MB dealer. Once I got home, I saw huge ding on front right fender. I then told my service rep and he said he was going to care of everything (Sorry to repeat this part).

I thought that everything was fine then. But unfortunately, the next day my auto shop (who is my friend) called me telling me that he saw another ding on left front fender.

Today, when I got my car back, I actually saw another two medium dings side by side (one cm apart of each other) at the left rear fender. So, altogether I got 4 dings. So, now I want to get your opinion, what should I do?

I have called my friend and he told me that he trully did not notice the last 2 dings. I really feel mad and sad because now my car is full of dings!! Please advice me what to do.

With that many dings, you should first ask yourself if maybe they were ones that you haven't noticed before. It is definitely possible for a dealership to have caused all of them, but with daily driving, they come anyways Nevertheless, it is the dealers responsibility to record any damages prior to taking in the car. What have they said?

I got your point, but I really think that I would not be that careless for not having seen all those dings all around my car. Afterall, my car had only been in my apartment for less than 2 days in the past 2 weeks.

I'm not saying that the dealer didn't do any of the dents, just that perhaps noticing the one made you look over the car and pick out other dents that may have been there before.
