BMW guy switching to BENZ

BMW guy switching to BENZ

I am looking to get a 2000 CLK 430 Coupe as my 2nd car (first one is M3)

I had a question about the warranty and stuff like that.. for BMW everything is covered (including maint. servicing, brakes, wipers etc ) for the first 4 years/50k

what is it with Benz? i tried to log onto thier website but its down for upgrades..
any info would be useful.

I don't think brakes are covered by warranty, but everything else should be the same.

Yup, Bruce is right.

Everything else if covered outside brakes, tires, and things of that nature.

BMW has full coverage for their warranty INCLUDING brakes, tires, wiper blades???

Yeah, for brakes it's included, it's a pretty good deal huh?

Yeah, it is. Considering I stepped in the dealership for my free A service and left with a ~$400 brake and rotor bill.

How long do your brakes last Bruce? And how many miles do put on your car a month? We might have the same driving patterns so I'm checking if my brake life is 'normal.' Thanks...

I used to drive around 10k a year during high school but now I'm in college I drive a little bit more because I have to communte to my school 35 mile round trip, 3 days a week, weekend and drive to work(insurance staff). I spend like $300 something for my brakes for Service B, mine last for 20k mile. I have 2,2000 mile on my CLK right now, time to get oil changed and alignment... should be the same as other people...
