55 cams on a 430
I hear rumors that you can install clk55 cams on a 430 is this true? What effects would this produce on a normal 430 and on my supercharged 430? How to they compare to other cams like schrick etc? Thanks

MBWorld Fanatic!
Most people who own cars that see boost (either supercharged or turbo’d) want cams that don’t see a lot of overlap. 55K cams may be a better choice.

from what i hear yes. now that your car in sc the cams are causing part of the forced air out. the NA cams have a overlapping in the lobs which is great for NA cars as it helps suck in air. however on your car this overlapping is letting part of the air that is now forced into the chamber out. i have no idea about the vrp cams i hear they are crazy thou from the 55 guys better than the kleemann cams. hope this helps a little.

build boost
BB from my research and what people are saying our f/i m113 will probally see some tremendous gains from cams! If we are loosing pressure/boost from na cams because of overlap I can only imagine the power increase and boost added when aggressive cams are installed that reduce the overlap! I wish these damn things werent so expensive! One of my goals in life now are to get some cams for cheap!
