Yea but you aren't running 11.5" rims in the rear. I dont rub with my 275's on a 10" rear but I can see problems with just sticking a bigger lip on a wheel.

It looks badass though and I hope he doesn't have problems

You guys are amazing.

I'm not into all this heavy modding ($) but I'm certainly not a hater. So while it may seem a bit much (to ME), I drool at it at the same time and this car has been one of my favorites for quite some time. I have nothing but the utmost respect for all of you guys (...and gals. I know you're out there Devilsangel *LOL*) creations.

Oh, and I'd have to give Freddy's car some love for 'Best in Show' voting. Actually I admire almost every car out here and the boldness and uniquness every single one of you are after.

Haha good point! I'm still learning things!! I agree it looks sick, and hope he has no problems. I definitely drool with envy!!!

Putting on a spacer will not increase the size of the lip, it will just push the wheel out closer to the fender to give it a wider appearance

yeah, that would be the look I am going for. I've wanted to explore the "VIP" style with this CLK and spacers might be the ticket to accomplish that. Buying new lips would be way out of budget for me, that is, if Brabus even offers that.

CLK FAN- its weird how the lip stiks out from the sidewall of the tire, almost to where it looks like it cant hold air...even though I know it does..

Did the tire store say anything how safe that is to have it mounted like that? just curious.

They told me I would be fine as long as I don't try anything stupid.

The set up on the rears is temporary. I'm looking for rear tires as we speak.

Nasty! Pure Nasty. In all it's nastiness. The minute I saw it, it felt like like I walked in a room after someone just farted. People like me are striving to achieve what you have accomplished. But trust me I'm on my way. Mr Slam It!

I'd like to see another CLK like the way I've done it here in the USA.

I have seen something similar to what I've done on Inden Design's website but not really the same thing.

I thought that most of you wouldnt understand my last sentence (OPALW208, CLKFAN, imphaded, DevilsAngel). Well the thing is, I dont live in the states and I can say that most of you people dont know the meaning of a pothole no offence, I like the look of the car, but wouldnt prefer my car to look like that, you know, different strokes for different folks.

I pay a lot of taxes here in Los Angeles, California, USA and that money I'm hoping is spent on making the roads here very nice for driving. California and Los Angeles in general have some of the most beautiful freeways and highways in the Country. I feel sorry for you.....it's unfortunate that you have to deal with your different strokes because of your roads or because of preference.

Here's what a 275/30/19 looks like on a 19x11.5

It looks like I should have the clearance.

Those would look really cool if the lip of the rim were rolled inward to blend with the tire.

So is that 275 giving it less of a stretch than you 245 did the lip looks like its sticking out the same.

less of a stretch but the lip on that particular wheel is flared like that from the factory, mine isn't.
