New Rear And Front Lip Pics - Almost VIP Look
I used to have 19x8.5 and 19x10
I added a 4" lip on the rear wheels and my old rear 2.5" lip on the front. My inner rear barrels were 7.5" and my fronts were 7" so now I have:
19x9.5 = 2.5" lip
Tires = 225/35/19
19x11.5 = 4" lip
245/35/19
I will be getting some 275/30/19 for the rears because the stretch is a little to much right now.
Enjoy the pics!
and ya def get wider tires...only thing i didnt like is the look of the rim stickin out past the tire that much (like my old wheels)...be careful with curb rash with that too.....u prob hafta have it stick out a bit so i doesnt rub those fenders.....
was there any repainting or anything involved in pulling out ur fenders that much
and how difficult and expensive is that process that you did with the lip swap?..PM me if you need to

Thanks for the comments.
The fender rolling was not very expensive at all because I actually did it myself with borrowing a fender roller from a local shop close by and their jack. I borrowed the fender roller for $100 but most shops will charge you $50 per fender...but they are afraid to go as crazy as I did so you have to tell them to let yo do it so you can deal with any paint chipping but in my case nothing chipped cuz I used a heat gun to soften the paint.
The lips were done for $65 each on the labor end of it including all the tire mounting and balancing. I bought the lips separate for $290 each.
If you want bigger lips I can connect you with someone who is connected with the manufacturer of the DPE lips. DPE will not sell you the lips separately without doing the work themselves. And if your wheels are 2pc this guy can get the 2pc hoops with the bigger lips.

too much?? how?? when you say that the wheels are at an angle, that is called negative camber.
Your last sentence does not make sense at all.
Sam. Car is looking great!
Can't wait to get my 20X10 fronts & 20X12 rears put on =)
Thanks,
I drive my car everyday and have had it sit lower at other times with different looks and never had any problems like you're talking about.
Negative camber is what comes with the territory when you have a lowered car that is not conservative in the looks department.
Changing my oil has happened countless times without any high maintenance costs....I don't know where you got this theory from.
Thanks Al...
Can't wait to see the future goodies to come as well with your Opal...I think you might be able to go with 11" and 13"

you hersh and opal have the baddest clks on here..
CLK FAN- Your car looks AMAZING

275's will definitely make the rear look hot. I don't think you would have any rubing issues, especially since your fenders are rolled. I don't have any with my 275's and my fenders aren't rolled.

I have a feeling you will rub bad with 275 tires.
