Schroth 4 point harness's installed
Well, almost, I have one finished, one to go. The belts and install could be applicable to almost any vehicle, no need for aftermarket seats either.
These are Schroth 4 point Rallye 4 ASM belts that feature anti-submarine technology and are DOT legal for street use. Made in Germany (same company that makes OE belts for BMW, MB, Sparco etc.).
These are designed to mount to all factory seat belt locations and feature a quick release buckle so you can stash the belts out of the way when you need to use your rear seats

wow, is that for your 320? kinda overkill for a 215hp luxury car don't ya think? are you going to get vinyls and one of those big aluminum spoilers, next?
just messing around- usually I get all the sh** for turning my benz into a racecar, It actually looks really good, so are you taking it out on the track or just planning on braking speed limits

Not your average clk and the belts are needed for the double duty (street/track). HP is more in the range of 348 +/-, I will have a firm number after this weekends dyno tuning session.
3.27:1 rear diff is from a C230, 2000 model. You need to swap the TCU (transmission control computer) also. I am not intimate with the CLK430 or if this differential is applicable to this model, sorry I can't be of more help.

I see your swapping out the rear diff, what others mods have you done to deal with that kind of increase in hp. Hows the 320's tranny holding up with these numbers? Are you using a stock drive shaft?

Redline high temp synthetic fluids, stock driveline. Flex discs are a normal failure point for high hp applications, mine are not showing any sign of fatigue, but I am looking into the feasibility of installing a flex disc from a higher hp car, but the V8's use a 8 bolt design vs. the clk320's 6 hole design. The C36 uses the same flex disc, so its at least good enough to handle 273 crank hp.
No problems with the diff or trans to date.

Kleemann supercharger w/intercooler
Kleemann ECU reprogram
70 mm SC pully
upgraded FPR
upgraged injectors
1 step colder plugs
higher flowing airbox w/K&N filter. In my case, I use a C36 airbox modified to fit the newer style MAF.
About 77k on the car right now.
The upgrade from the 3.07:1 to 3.27:1 diff, does not contribute to hp/torque gain, but it does net a better 0-60 time at the sacrifice of top end speed.
