was the blue purplish color made with a black interior?
Considering getting a CLK 320 convertible and have noticed there are a ton for sale, especially the black and silver. The blu/purple color has caught my eye but I want something with a black interior because the lighter color will be a PIA to keep clean...
Do they make this color combo?
Any thoughts on the other cool colors?

It sounds like the purplish exterior color you're refering to is Black Opal, that was a metalic paint, code 189, and was an additional cost paint.
For a 2002 CLK320 Cab, Black Opal was available with charcoal, oyster, or ash interiors. 2002 CLK320's with Black Opal and charcoal interior cabs came with either a black or ash top. Osyster interiors came with black tops. Ash interiors came with either a black or ash top.

My wife's car is the CLK 200 Kompressor Avantgarde in "Amethyst Blue". If this is the color you're thinking of, then yes, it is available with a black interior, at least in the Avantgarde model. I 'spose I may be able to snap some pics if you're interested.
btw, I've noticed that a lot of Benz options offered in the states are not available here in Japan and that may go the other way, too. In other words, I don't know if the Avantgarde model was sold in the US.
I was wondering at first why you would be looking for a CLK with the rides you already have, but then I realized that it fits the niche that's not yet covered by the other vehicles you have in your stable. Good luck finding the one you want! (And take a little drive in that Lamborghini for me, will ya'?)
