HID HEADLIGHTS INFORMATION NEEDED!

Hey,

I want to to change my factory Xexon Headlights to theses http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/MERCE...spagenameZWDVW .

Do i need to buy and HID Kit? Are they easy to install?

These projector lights are not designed for HID burners, the projectors are for Halogen use only. Putting HID burners in a halogen projector will not give you a good usable light pattern. If you have factory HID's already, your better off keeping those.

i disagree..i hav HIDs in my projectors n theyre fine...u have basically 3 main optinos if u want HIDs in those...

1...get a D2r - H7 adapter for the bulbs
2...try using the stock ballasts etc and get only H7 HID bulbs
3...purchase a whole new HID kit...wich is wut i did...

I DISAGREE with 2PHAST & I AGREE with HERSH

See for yourself...
These are high end after market HID's

Of course feel free to disagree, but those crappy projectors with HID burners will never provide better light output or a better beam pattern then factory HID reflectors. If you want to do it right, put correct HID projectors in those headlights, then you would have a good setup.

I have already tried those projector lights w/D2S burners in them, they came right out and the factory HID lights went back in the car.

Oh, by the way, D2R are for reflector headlights, D2S are the correct burners for projectors.
