Foggy Projector Headlight Cover
Got the Cheese Graters about 6 months ago. Have been pretty happy with them. Recently I found out the glass/plastic cover of the passenger side one has become a little foggy. The other one looks just fine. I tried to use the solutions I got from Autozone but doesn't seem to be working. The last thing I want to do is to have a body shop rub some other solution on it for 80 bucks.

hey get PlastX from kragen and if u want some real results, get a buffer machine, i think they have small ones for 20 bucks or u can borrow one and use the plastx with the machine. It'll make the headlights look brand spankin new

That's what I'm talking about! You guys here in this forum are more handy and helpful than the mechanics and "technicians" who're trying to screw you every chance they get.
Will try that. Thanks sonnyhoang.

Another option is to hire someone to polish them for you. I don't know how the guy who did mine made any money. He drove from the LAX area, way the heck up to Santa Clarita (90 minutes each way for those unfamiliar with the area), ran his $4.50-a-gallon gas generator for 40 minutes (he used that to power his buffer), and polished all four headlamps. When he was done, he was going to wash the car, but I declined. Washing a car that's been sitting in the sun for 45 minutes on a 105+ degree day isn't my preferred method. Anyway, my total cost was $50. If you pay someone, make sure they polish the lamps in the street. The polish splatters everywhere. My garage would have been a mess if he had done it there.
