Wheel spacer help?
I recently put the 18inch Brabus Mono VI replica wheels on the my car last week. I was told that it would look better if I get 10mm wheel spacers. I have seen several different kinds on ebay. If someone knows more about this then please let me know which one to buy. Thanks.

10 mm wheel spacers, eBay Motors items on eBay.com

So even though I dont have the authentic Brabus wheels, they still will work? I guess it really doesnt matter. After that I will just have to buy the longer bolts?

i have real Brabus Mono V 2-pc 19x8.5 front with 245/35, 19x9.5 real with 275/30 and still need 10mm space in front to clear the control arms AND cut the bolts in the real by 3mm to clear the E-brake ( the bolts in the real too long, hit the e brake whenever i roll, it sound clack-clack loudly)

Seriously though, I just had to fit spacers to allow my wheels to clear the calipers of my newly installed BBK. Only needed 5mm, which if you buy H&R are just a washer really, but a very well made one. No lip to centre your wheel on but a perfect fit over the hub so shouldn't give balance trouble.
Whilst I was searching, The most I could find was, And if anyone knows different, speak up, If you want the lip, then 13mm is the thinnest they (H&R) make. Any thinner are all washers like my 5milly ones.
I worried about centering my wheels without the lip but heard that our wheels are "Lugcentric", In other words, If you tighten your wheel bolts carefully, The wheels should be centered by the bolts alone. Don't need the tit in the middle.
It worked for me. Just hit the speed limiter for the first time and the car was running smooth as a smooth thing.
Please min', Take special care with the bolts. You probably know this already, But you need 10mm of "Bolt in hole". That's roughly six turns after you get the thread engaged. If it's less, Don't risk it. I had a wheel fly off an old Ford years ago and it's not funny. Well OK, maybe a little. Still drove the thing home.
Not too much fuss on the front if your bolts are a little long, but if the bolts on the rear are more than 3 or 4mm too long, You may damage your parking brake mechanism.
Get a tape measure, Take the time to work it out.
Rubber side down.

02 CLK320 and 18" SL500 AMG Rims
Recently I picked up some 18" AMG rims from a friend (off his 02 SL500). Guess I should have looked into it sooner, but guess I need spacers since the rears rub. Anyone have some suggestions for spacers in this configuration? I am guessing I will probably need spacers on the front as well, but coming up short while digging for the info. This would seem to be a common config.
