Problem Problem suggestions?
I changed:
- engine mounts
- Maf
- Sparkplugs
- fixed 2 vaccum leaks
- Cleaned injection system
- fuel filter
- air filter
- cleaned throttle
- cleaned engine with special product
Now what to do? Im thinking about the ERG valve , is it possible to clean it? how many erg valves are there on a 320? 1 or 2. If you have any other suggestions you are more than welcome.
Is it coming through your hands or feet or ***?
I would go to a shop that has one of those lifts that can suspend the car with the wheels off the floor go for a "stationary ride", with a friend underneath the car and follow the whole drivetrain poking at everything with a screwdriver to see if you can feel or see anything vibrating.
Once on another car, I lost one of the four small bolts connecting the propshaft to the gearbox. Just vibrated loose I suppose.
The shaking drove me mad for weeks until I spotted it was missing.
Sometimes the codes don't pop up, even if there is a fault. Computers are not infallible. Might be worth getting the car on one of those Krypton type tuning machines to look for coil breaks or trouble with leads etc.
Good luck! Let us know what it was when you find it

I'm thinking misfire or mechanical imbalance.
Or perhaps the fuel injection temperature sensor? (don't know if that is the correct name, but I am assuming we have this in our cars too)

The intake air thermosensor might cause the check engine light to illuminate. I've had one go out on another Bosch injected car, and it tripped a code. It did not effect the idle.
