Paint prep started!!! YEAH

I went by the shop to check on the car and they already started the prep work on the car. They were looking for all the dents around the car and sanding down all the panels. The shop will start doing all the edges today and will work on my front bumper the most since it had some damage as well.

All in all I am pretty excited just seeing it sanded...I cant imagine how I will feel when its all painted. The only thing I forgot to tell them is to paint the front grill all black as well. I have always wanted the grill blacked out so I will go back and tell them today.

good for you...fresh paint.

they should be taking off your hood ornament for a better job instead of taping it off.

Yeah I mentioned that to him as soon as I saw it and the bodyman said that he was just doing the rough work now and would start removing all the stuff this afternoon. I also walked around trying to make sure that he had all the dents marked off for repair.

I just got back from the shop again (LOL) and they are in fact taking it all apart now. She looked F-ed up now and I just hope it doesnt start making noises now that the panels have been taken off. They started asking me about doing the headliner in suede now that the car was all apart and not in use. But that will have to hold on for Later..Later.

They are also going to do the grill in black so at least I finally have that mod done since I have wanted it done for quite a while. The painting will probably not start till Tuesday since they close the shop on Sundays.
