Hey,

How much is the best full suspension setup for my 2002 CLK430?

Also, do I have to purchase a camber kit?

Thanks
Steve

depends, you can go with a spring shock set up, or get the "coilovers" that kw makes. i just put in bilstein sport shocks and h&r springs and they're awesome so far. haven't gone in for my alignment so not sure if i need a camber kit.

a lot of members get either speedybnz or kmac camber kits in order to dial less negative camber.

hhseouljah I Just purchased that same set up hopefully will be putting it in this up coming weekend. Its been said that speedybnz takes a bit for you to get your product but its good quality stuff.

nice. you'll be happy with it. dont go in expecting you're going to come out feeling like you have coilovers, but its a great upgrade over stock. flatter in the turns, better steering response, and tighter feeling overall.

i'll have pics up later this week after it settles i put my 19s back on.

ANy spring with Koni adjustable shocks is perfect.

H&R seems to be the popular one though and drops the car the nicest

I've got a set of H&R spring and Yellow Koni adjustable shocks (front and rear), pads if you're interested. They were on my 2000 CLK430 and only have around 10K miles on them. I just finished taking pictures of them and about to post them to the "for sale" forum. PM me and we'll talk about price.

Thanks Sonny....

I really like the KW v.2's on my CLK55 and it allows adjustability. I have the H&R cup kit on my CLK430 and it handles great!

Hey,

Are these the proper H&R Springs to purchase for my CLK430 (http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/_Car-...1|240%3A1318)? And where do I purchase Koni Adjustable Shocks? Is this the type of setup you have? Because your setup is SICK!!

Thanks
Steve

I'm not sure because it does not state if it is for a convertible or coupe. Check the part number and do some research, I'm sure it will tell you. Or call the manufacturer with the part number.

What do you have coupe or conv.?

Yeah thats the correct ones the part # is 29772 for coupes. Thats a good price to I just payed like $230 from tire rack. As far as the koni's they have them at tirerack will run you about $180 each so your looking at $800 for the set. I went with Bilstein Sport Shock which was about half of that. Search on ebay you might find a deal on those like you did with the springs. Good Luck

This is a thread I started were deyainrdy4ds has good pictures of his car with that setup so you can get a ideal
