I need to get the serial number off my Radio / Comand unit. Does any one have good instructions?

Go to the dealership and buy the radio pullout keys. The small keys fit into small slots on each side of the radio, slide them in and the will lock in place. Them just pull the radio out by pulling on the keys.

Once you are ready to put the radio back in you will have to release the keys manually with a small screwdriver. They will not automatically release.

Thanks. I needed the serial number but you can get the serial number without physically pulling the unit out. The instructions will be useful whe i replace the unit though.
