That looks good.

OT but...
How do you like the AVS ES100? I have put about 3000 miles on them mounted on the stock 17" AMGs.

They will get noisy, like my previous Parada set on 18" Brabus Multipiece Mono-V.... REAL noisy, but so far I think they're good in the rain.

Yeah my calipers are painted red, and I'll get you some more pictures.

I just put the wheels on today, so I don't know much about the tires. I've only driven 4 miles with the new rims hahaha

Thanks guys!!

I have the same setup (wheels and tires). I really like the flat sidewall on the ES100. It help fill up the wheel well pretty good and the tread design looks great. I only driven on it for less than 500 miles, but I actually think it is better than my stock Michelin Pilot. I felt less spin on fast takeoff and hard cornering.

hahaha Thanks everyone.

Hey Petie shoot me an email I lost your address. Got you a new sig pic....

Yeah the sidewall is really flat and looks awesome. The tires seem to be very nice right now and pretty quiet. They do have a little wonder to them, but maybe that is just the wider tires or the wind tonight.

Petie, is your car lowered? If it isn't, the fender gap doesn't look that bad w/ 18's.

Not yet, that is the stock suspension with stock spring pads, but im getting the Kleemann Suspension in a month or so, and if the ride is as smooth as it is supposed to be, then i will also go with thinner spring pads.

silly question but 19s will fit a CLK right?
I should be getting mine pretty soon

I like how you guys painted the brakes red.... how did you do it? would like to do the same but heard you will lose a lot of brake fluid doing it and it's hard to reassemble the brake afterwards

ach7ung,

There is no reason to lose any fluid when painting the calipers, or disassemble the brakes. We sell the G2 brake paint kits, that come with everything you need including instructions.

19s will fit, but make sure you get wheels with the right offset and width. Also, depending on the tire, you may rub. If you aren't sure, just ask on MBWorld.

Hey Cilky and Petie, what's your tire set ups? I'm actually getting the same set of rims tomorrow, I just put in H&R springs today. BTW I will have 225/40/18 in the front and 255/35/18 in the rear. And what kind of a ride diffences did it make on your car. Thanks in advance.

Petie has 225/40 and 255/35 like you are getting. I went with 235/40 and 265/35 because I love wide tires hahaha :p I was afraid I would need to roll my fenders as soon as the wheels went on, but they haven't even come close. I've been jumping up and down in the trunk to see if I can get them to rub, but nothing yet. Whenever tirerack frees their fender roller up, I'll roll my fenders. The only ride difference I've noticed so far is the tires following every crack in the road. It is still just as smooth as stock though.

well your H&R springs will be the cause of any ride differences honestly, the rims and tires didnt make much of a difference for me, except, like jeremy said, ruts in the road tend to grab the tires a bit, no big deal though....
