Not without fender modification, Mach430 has 275 in the rear and he had major fender work which brought the fender about .5"-1"(can't remember) out. Just stick with 235/265.

While we are on the subject.... I have 18x9 rear wheels offset 35 and 265/35/18 do I need to roll my fenders? My car has stock suspension right now, but I plan on lowering it in the future.

I currently have fitted 275 wide tires on 18x9" Carlsson rims with ET35, lowered on H&R.
Absolutely no rubbing.
These are being switched for 18x9.5" rims in the near future.
I also occasionally fit 275 wide tires on 19x10" rims with ET38.
Again, no rubbing.
No fender modifications performed (unlike my C43, which needed work to fit 265).

Thanks Scorchie....
Bruce... Tirerack even told me that 265 would work....they said I "may" need to roll my fenders but they weren't totally sure. I think if I had 10 subwoofers and 2-400lb guys in the back then I might worry about it, but it hasn't come close yet. I was just wondering when I lower the car if I would need to or not. Thanks though!! Hey besides who wants 255's when you can have 265's??

Out Of Control!!
My wheels:
19x8.5 et 35
19x9.5 et 35
My tires 245/35/19 275/30/19.
With 245s in the front, you will rub like crazy! I need to use a 5mm spacer to clear the shock, and had about .5" of tire sticking out the sides with the Pirelli's. Going to a narrower tire such as the Toyo T1s will make it easier, but you will still need front fender modification.
The rears aren't as bad, but with the Pirelli's (lowered) should also have plenty of rubbing. With a Toyo, it will be less, but you're going to have to do some slight pulling on the rears.
Every car is slightly different, which is why you've seen various answers here. The car will drive better with 245/275 than 235/265, but prepared to do a lot of work to make it happen.

Thanks Mach,
and everyone for your help and answers.
I decided to go with the 18" Brabus Monoblock V. This is my first major mod besides my Stereo sys. I'll post some pics after they arrive and i have them installed. Next I want that AMG body Kit, any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

instead of pirelli 245/275, if you really want to do that step up, just for the numbers that is, go with the toyo tires, there 245/275 is about the same as the 235/265 pirelli p7000

hey I used 19 inch carlsson 2/6 before and 245-35/19 at Front and 275-30/19 and I slamm the car...for the rear just roll the fenders and it should be fine. for the Front I suggest that you can use 235 instead of 245..remember for Pzero the tires is really thick compare to other brands...Get Sp9000 is better...

OK wheel experts
Can you get 19x9 on the front if you stay with a narrow tire like 225/35 without rolling the fenders. Same for the rear, can you use a 19x10 if you go with a narrow tire like 245/30 without rolling.

If it is rubbing on the inside of the tire (closest to the center of the car) a spacer will help ONLY if you have enough room (between the outside of the tire and fender) to add a spacer. I have a 5mm spacer on my front wheels to clear on the inside.

do u have a shop open to the public..maybe I can stop by..
I was thinking about 3mm. plus I need lug nuts because I cut the previouse one it little bit too long...so if I add a spacer i need a new lug nuts..

..........I have 235/40/18 in front and 265/35/18 in the rear. The rerar has 15mm spacers. When I had Toyo T1-S, I had no problem. I just got Bridgestone S-03 which are great tires for both wet and dry handling and are not as noisy as Toyo's.........but the S-03's are wide tires, so theuey rub on the outside of my rear fender. Interestingly it only rubs on the left rear side. Either I switch back to Toyo's or I change my rear spacers to 12mm or perhatps 10mm. I gues my point it depends on the tire make. Something tells me that 275's if they are Toyo tires might work. For the front however, I think by trial and error most agree that 235's are the widest you can go without fender work.

You are right about the different tire manufacturers. I like S03s and the side profile tends to be less round compared to say Toyo. What wheel and offsets do you have for the front and rear? Also, if you lowered your car, what suspension do you have?
