Heyy whats up guys was going through some of my old pics and found these pics of my old clk430 crash! Thought i should post em up.. And the last pic is the new CLK430 i just got about 4 months ago. Kind of a funny story i was driving with my knee's and txting and eating! Going about (85-90) and there was this really crazy turn on the freeway by the time i put my hands on the wheel the car went too far to the side and it kinda slipped in the dirt and all i remember was the airbag knocking me out! LOL i hit like 4-5 trees and kncoked out a light pole and my car landed on top of the 5 or 6th tree haha luckily no cars were involved in the accident and no one got hurt! The car is pretty dam strong!! The whole thing was totaled besides the part i was sitting at and what was crazy was i only had a scratch on my leg! lol i guess God was on my side!!

im sorry but i dont find any hilarity to that story, sheer luck you didnt hit anybody else or that anybody else was around you, sounds a bit reckless. hope you drive this one a bit more safely.

lol i am young and i no there isnt a speedlimit that says u can go 85-90 but i was really late to work!! And wasnt really thinking about anything but getting there on time and the txt was kind of important lol so had to reply and ya was kinda hard till i hit this real nasty turn! lol well i guess you learn from your mistakes and i no i did

At least you got to walk away with a "warning" that you should actually pay attention and drive when you're driving. I cannot tell you how many idiots I see here in vegas texting, eating, smoking, drinking, reading etc while attempting to drive down the road. The latest one I saw was a lady smoking and talking on her cell while driving a stick shift car and making a turn. Live and learn.................a lot of people don't get the live option.

I smoke and drive all the time and it has never effected my driving. Not sure if i will smoke in my new car when i buy it.

Dag...did they need a helicopter to find you ? Glad ur ok. You witnessed one of the benefits of driving a heavy, solid, well built car. At least u didn't total a highway patrol car drunk like that moron in a CLK320 posted on here a while back.

They didnt find me! IT was real hard getting outa the car and when i did i was stuck in the middle of where 2 freeways connect and it sucked no one wouldnt stop their car and i finally ran off of the freeway and called my older bro's from a gas station and i had to call the cops myself. Took $500 to take my car outa where it was stuck in and take it home! But after everything i didnt car about anything but losing my CLK. I drove many cars after my accident but nothing as good as a CLK so it took me a while to save up and get another one.

It is so easy to reach 80 mph in the CLK430 and it feels like your are doing 55mph. I constantly have to reduce my speed everytime I look down at the speedo. Im glad it is a safe car cause it tricks you into speeding.

I feel the same way with the V6. ^ Can't imagine a V8.

I think all euros feel smooth on the highway.
