You could go with Magnaflow and a nice set of tips.

How loud do you want the exhaust to be?

How about straight pipes?

Yeah... how loud are you planning to go?

If you're unsure, i say... try cutting off your resonator first, then from there, you can decide how much louder you want it.

or....

Get a magnaflow muffler, and if you want it even louder, then cut off the resonator. But if you wanna go all out.... cut off the secondary cats as well. VRoOOOOoOOm! VrOoOOoOooM!!!

Will this setup most likely pass emissions in most states.

Without secondary cats I believe it will still pass a smog test but not a visual inspection...

If you cut off your resonator and secondary cats, it shouldn't be a problem. And since CALIFORNIA is the MOST STRICTEST EMISSION STATE of all 50 states. I'm 99.9% sure that'll you'll pass smog without a problem.

thanks man, its not bad at all like cruzing down the freeway and then you stomp on it and it just roars!!! But im always listening to music so i dont even hear the exhaust that much, just go down to a muffler shop and ask them to cut it right before the muffler and as soon as they do that start your car rev it up and see if you like it, if you do then cool have them continue and if not just have them weld it back in, throw a 20 there way and your good to go, cause it all depends on what you like, im 18 i think it sounds bad as my dad is 40 and he dosent like it at all haha

Easy if you have piping and welding capabilities. Just cut and weld in pipes! Cheap job for a muffler shop.

I promise I'll get a drive by clip of my exhaust soon...it's beautiful! I just keep forgetting. Kinda loud for a MB, but maybe not so bad for an AMG!
