Help will not start

My wife was sitting in a parking lot and she said her car just quit running, someone putt jumper cables on and it started right up. I told her to take it to autozone because she made it sound like it would not start due to battery. When i got there the battery tested fine but the car would not start. The engine turns over just fine but it seems its not getting any fuel or not getting any spark. I did change the plugs this past weekend and used the NGK's. Its not throwing the check engine light and she said ran fine until it just died. anyone have any idea's, any help would be appreciated. Im going to see if I can get a crank position sensor and see what happens.

Thats it!! CPS! It's an EASY do it yourseld fix too! You'll need an internal star bit. I think it's internal...

Edit: Just found out it's an 8 external torx bit. Have fun!

From reading the various posts, I've come to the conclusion that there are really only 2 things that can go wrong with W208, 1. CPS and 2. MAF. I'm going to get my MAF replaced at the next service, CPS was done during the week.

Where does everyone buy their CPS from? I think I'll replace mine as a prevenitive maintence thing.

CLK Operator, there was a post on the CLK55 forum the other day about getting a well priced MAF. This is the site.. www.autohausaz.com You should be able to find the CPS you're after pretty quickly. If I wasn't so far away, I'd be buying for a spare right now.

Ok...so if it isn't the CPS thats bad, what would be the problem if the car isn't starting??? Friday night, I was coming to a stop and the car just shut off on me. Tried to start the car back up but it wasn't turning over. So did some research thought ok, it must be the CPS, so I bought it and got it changed out. Fuel pump or camshaft sensor? I have a guy coming out hopefully tomorrow to use a scan tool on it to get the exact code, so hopefully that will shed some light. But if anyone else has some suggestions PLEASE let me know!!!! Thank you!
