Hi Guys.
I've done a search but no-one seems to have the same problem as me!
When I play my cd's it works fine then cuts out after around a song or two making a noise as if a fuse blew. The radio stays on and I can listen to other sources but no sound will come from the cd. It just says no cd.
If left for a while with the car switched off, probably 30mins, the cd will work again. What gives!!
The same thing will then happen if I play my cd's.
Can anyone help please!

Hi, yes everytime.
I've cleaned the lens with a lens cleaning disc. Taken the magazine out to make sure nothing is jammed and checked that the wires to the changer are connected and not loose.
The radio and tape work fine.

Thanks for the heads up!
Are there any cheap fixes?
Is it better to buy a new system. I was looking at a Pioneer or Kenwood double din unit as a replacement.

A digital media receiver, a PAC SWI-JACK, an additional PAC SWI-CAN, a PAC OEM-Universal, the VW/Audi/Mercedes harness adapter, and a Motorola antenna adapter, will allow you to kiss CD's goodbye. The additional cables will allow you to use the steering wheel controls and plug into your existing wiring harness. The head unit will allow you to use a USB powered hard drive, a USB thumb drive, iPhone, or iPod, depending on which head unit you chose.

Caveat - if you can shock a flash drive hard enough to make it skip, you've probably wrecked the car.
