Can someone tell me what the layout of the exhaust system is.
Is it 2 resonators going into the cat then to muffler?

There are four catalytic converters in this picture. The engine would be to the left. Downstream is to the right, where the single resonator is followed by the muffler.

correct.
4 cats -> 1 resonator -> 1 muffler.

I have my resonator removed and have heard of many removing their secondary cats.

How does it sound without the resonator?

Cool

I like it. A little throatier when I put my foot in it. Not very noticeable at idle. I just replaced with straight pipe stainless. Be advised that this is where goes down from 2 pipes to 1. Some are buying universal 'x' pipes and installing. Search it, you'll find the one.

I removed my resonator and the muffler and sounds pretty good and it kinda feels quicker too! Does it make a difference power wise though?
