Looking for a GOOD certified service center that’s not a dealer in Pasadena, Glendale, or Burbank CA for my 2001 CLK? It’s not a car I drive a lot anymore so I would rather save some cash and take this particular car somewhere cheaper for service. Keeping the E500 at the dealer for now

I just have this fear that stems back to my BMW days.. I took it to a certified (small shop) BMW mechanic instead of the dealer and it seems I was taking it back for unrelated problems every other month. This was happening to other customers as well, later I found out. The shop since closed down, maybe they got caught for screwing the cars up, dunno. So as you can see I’m a little hesitant about it.

 

if ya want to go to reseda, ca there is a really good mechanic and he's really cheap too compared to others! They always work on my car and arent to far from burbank. They are called European vision autoworks. call 818-632-4990 and ask for steve or kevin and tell em gurpreet sent ya! goodluck

CMYK- I know thid citiy isnt in your area, but at Anaheim Caliber Motors about 30ish miles away from your target area, my buddy who bought my CLK430 works there as a tech. I can give him a heads up if you decide to go there.

Google the guy and you'll find people drive from SD for his work. Years ago, a number of MB owners chipped in and bought him a trophy for "best MB shop".

Enrique is the owner of MB Motors. "What can he do" is a pretty open ended question. It might be faster to say what I wouldn't trust him to do - body work and possibly suspension repair following a major accident. Other than that, he can do just about anything your dealer can do, and he'll do it for less. Enrique has been repairing Mercedes-Benz's for over 40 years. He was at Beverly Hills LTD for over 25 years, spent time as the shop foreman there, and spent another 5+ years as the shop foreman at Stiegler.
