Pictures of BBS LMs.

Here are 2 pictures of my car with new BBS LMs, a picture of my car's old shoes and a useless picture of my tuned engine. I was going to wait to post pictures until I installed my Lorinser roof lid and trunk lip, Kleeman shocks and springs and Brembo brakes, however I figured these would serve as the "before" pictures.

Just this past week when I put on my LMs. I minor scratch on the face of one wheel, however, it is only to the clear coat. A few minor scratches on the outer edge, but barely noticeable. I only used the rims for 3 months. I probably could have sold them for more, however, I wanted to make it easy and the guy who bought them seemed like a good guy.

Unhappy

Sleestack, looks like we're going to have to wait longer, the shocks to arrive in the US until the 23rd. Then customs and more shipping...

Ahhhh... I've learned to wait for everything when it comes to my car. At least my lid, lip and muffler should be here this week. Right now I'm trying to decide which body kit, if any, will look best on my car. If you go with the Carlsson RS kit are you going to remove your Lorinser lid and lip?

Actually, now I think I'm going with the MH-Dezent kit, and keeping the Lorinser spoilers. What muffler are you getting?

MKB is custom building a muffler for me to go with the rest of the parts Oberklasse installed. My Remus muffler got macked up by an errant stone so I am currently using my stock muffler. You should check out MKB's website at www.MKB-power.de. It's pretty cool. I'm not sure about bodykits. They all have their good and bad points. I like the Lorinser front and the Carlsson sides. Not thrilled about any of the rears. Need to see some more pictures of the MH-dezent kit before I can make a decision. Definitely save your money for those BBS LMs... you will love them.

I found a few pictures from the Essen show, unfortunately they only show the rear and side of the kit. I'll email it to you. I think you'll be impressed. Brad was right, it looks great. The really need to update the pictures on their website.

Sleestack, I've been so curious about your car for months now. What can I say, it looks incredible. Very nicely done.

I don't want to state the price on the forum because I negotiated a deal with Oberklasse based on the scope of work I had done. I can say that I bought my car with less than 1000 miles from a friend who needed the cash for less than $45,000. After all the work I had done, minus the wheels, I ended up spending about what I would have for a CLK55. I was going to purchase a 55 at the time, however, the wait was too long and the offer on the 430 was too good to pass up. After I install the Kleeman and the Brembos the cost will obviously be significantly more.

I ran a dyno 1 month ago with my Brabus rims and had peak numbers of over 307 hp and 317lb/ft torque at the rear wheel. I expect that the numbers should be better with BBS LMs. Oberklasse is also sending my ECU to get further tweaked for about another 25-30hp next week. My car is a pure joy to drive. With the Brabus I ran a consistent 0-60 of 4.6 using a G-tech Pro. The BBS LMs make my car feel like it is floating (and sometimes it is). Bring on the Kleeman SC.

18" Brabus (8.5/9.5) = 33lbs/36lbs
19" BBS LM (8.5/9.5) = 24lbs/24.5lbs

I love the look of Brabus Mono V's, however, IMO the LMs are much sportier looking. As far as performance goes, my car is much quicker off the line and feels more nimble and responsive.

Did you install the KLEEMANN Shocks (and springs?) yet? If so, are they really "speed sensitive"?
