Grill updated pictures of aftermarket w208

Trying to decide if to get 3, 4, or 5 fin aftermarket MB Grill. Anyone got pictures of theirs and where they got them from. I hear there is a guy on ebay selling them but you have to glue the emblem on so I want to steer clear of that mess.

I also seen a picture of clear taillights but cannot find the source. Any help appreciated.

Thanks,

Dennis

Don't put that crap on your car. Save your money. Just paint your OEM grill black.

This is your first post look around the site a little bit and get some ideals like that. there is tons of pictures of what your looking for. I personally don't like the fin mb grill but theres a few cars in here with it. Searching the w208 forum will also get you more familiar with your car just incase any problems occur. Welcome

grill

If I was asking for permission or opinions that's exactly what I would have asked for and you are entitled to yours and I respect that, but it's not mine. Thanks for you 02 cents, keep the change.

I will search and find the pictures. Thanks, have an awesome day!

You really don't have to be a d!ck. We just don't want you or your "friend"
to trash your/his CLK with an ugly grill; thus, misrepresenting the true look of a Mercedes Benz W208 with aftermarket crap. So, please, with all do respect take the 02 cents

Hey, don't put your inner aggressions on how you feel about yourself on me, this isn't Russia, anyone can do what they want with their cars and it's none of your business. Don't hate on me because you have self-esteem issues, I mean I feel for you but no need to be nasty. Again, have a great day!

From suggestions/comments on an ugly grill, to inner aggression, to Russia, and then finally to low self-esteem issues. Are you serious? LOL
Does this make sense? I really do wonder how people come up with these conclusions?!??! Your inductive reasoning sucks. Get yourself an education or try to educate yourself on the topic of ignorance. And then try to relieve yourself of ignorance.

Grill for w208

Actually it's not and so it begins, if he wants to argue it will be with himself, this forum isn't a place for it and I won't spend the effort, subject closed, agree to disagree!

Personally I am not a big fan of Grown @ss Men telling Grown @55 Men how to spend their money or what to put on their cars ESPECIALLY if you don't even know them. Though OPALW208 is a very respected member who has by far one of the best CLKs, I would have responded the same way. I personally don't appreciate people telling me what to do and would have been offended as well, though it may not have been his intent. This also includes the comment made by CLK430.

It would have been different if the member asked for the opinions of others but this was not the case. You will find that I have responded the same way with people making similar comments on what I should do or not do with my car.

I say go for it if you don't like it you can always change it later
I had the 5 fin grill on my ride for years and I loved it. I just changed it recently because I wanted a change and not because most people did not like it. My Car, My Money, My Life.

Where would the custom world be if no one pushed the envelope.
Where would the custom world be if everyone all used the exact same custom parts. Would not be many variances and defeat the purpose of custom individuality which is basically what it boils down to anyway.

Mb Grills

Williams, I couldn't have said it better. I wasn't offended (actually it was kinda funny) and I appreciate everyone's way of doing it, with that said no more need to be said. Peace!

Wow, I haven’t been on here in since my last post. (lol) Anyways, "dennisspeaks" I sent you a pm. I still have the grill. I had it on the car for about (4) months. I decided to put my stock one back on because I just tired of this...

The star has to be glued on before you install it. It was always an ongoing issue for me when I was opening my hood. Sometimes it would pop off and sometimes it wouldn’t. It was just a poor design in my opinion. Maybe I installed it wrong. You never know. A friend of mine installed it on his CLK430 and hasn’t had any problems. So go figure. You do what you want to do. It’s like picking out a pair of shoes. You pick what color you want and what design you want. You don’t pick what everyone else wants. At least I don’t. Quality wise the grill is very cheap. The looks of it I like. That’s my 2 cents. Hope I didn’t offend anyone.

It's an animated GIF. Photoshop, Paint Shop Pro, Animation shop, and Photoimpact can all make animated GIFs. I'm sure there are others. There was downloadable freeware that did it back in the WIN95 days. There may be XP freeware.

This pic was taken before my new lights, bumper and grill. Make me an offer. The cheapest I seen on Ebay is $138.00 delivered.

Looks nice, I haven't seen any that just makes me go woooooow. I like the chrome surround like the OEM has with the mb star in the middle, I think I am going to see if i can find a shop to fabricate one.
