it should be okay, but for the rear only. For the front, you will need some spacers.

So, what is the range of offset (front and back) that is available for W208 without any spacer and rubbing?

If you have lets say Brabus with offset 35mm, is it going to be the same if you have other brand with 35mm offset too?

Thank you,

It depends on the wheel width. An ET38 wheel will work fine in any position on a CLK... but I'm talking about a 7" wide rim. A 7.5" wide ET38 should be OK in the front. 8" wide ET38 is way too close in front and depending on the tire, will probably rub.

So in determining what rubs or not, you have several factors:

1) wheel offset
2) wheel width
3) tire diameter
4) tire width
5) what body parts you have on the car

I have 19x 8.5F and 19x9.5R Brabus Monoblock V multipiece
the offset for both ofthem is 35mm all around.
I tried with PZero 235/35/19 and 255/30/19 and they rubbed on the inside.

Should the offset be smaller?

thank you,

No way, it shouldn't rub with that size. You must did something wrong. People usually put 265 in the rear and they don't rub at all.

One more question to the expert....

Then, what about Brabus V (35mm) with 19x8.5 front with 245/35/19? I know that it's better to put 235, but I just want to know if it will work with 245 because I have a set of tires of 245 in my garage.

I hate to spend $$ $$ $$ $$ and $$. I think I did invested enough.

Blackbaby: I am serious, I am not lying, when I looked at the back (inside of the rims) it says "19x8.5 ET 35 and 19x9.5 ET 35".
I didn't know why it didn't work.

Hope you guys can help.

Thank you,

245/35 et 35 will not fit on the front . I tried, it rubbed. i went to 235. But maybe if you add a 2-5mm spacer it may work.

Call Brabus, they are usually pretty good at determining what may be wrong. But you may want to try a 2-5mm spacer.

I emailed them already and they said it should be fine.

If I tried 245/35/19 and 275/30/19 with 10mm spacer and it still didn't work. Do you think putting 235/35/19 and 265/35/19 would fit with 3-5mm spacer?
Is PZero wider than Bridgestone SP3 PP (given the same width)?

Thank you

Maybe , if you use a 3-5mm spacer with the 235/35 on the front and change to 265/30 for the rear you stand a chance. 265/35 is too tall and will probably rub the underside of your car. I did read somewhere that pzero is a wider tire than most. you may need to go with something like Yokohoma, Toyo or Nitto or 255/35 for the rear.

I still didn't get the solution...

front: 19 x 8.5 (235/35/19)
rear: 19 x 9.5 (245/35/19)

Bolt pattern: 114.3 5H
Offset: 38mm

Will these set up work on CLK???
