Memories...I loved this car!
It was a 2001 CLK430...I was going through some old pics on Benzworld and found these crappy pics of my first MB I bought with my own scratch (I had just gotten out from a 1996 M3)...I always jonesed for a CLK55 but my bank account couldn't afford it at that time...
I still love this bodystyle over the 209 and the color combo (the crappy pics don't do it justice...esp. the interior)...just my preference...FTW.

2000 CLK430
This is the state that I am in right now. I hope to upgrade as you have later on!! I wanted a BMW but my wife nagged me for the Mercedes when we lived in Germany and I am so glad that I changed my decision to the MB!!!!
I hope that I dont ever have to sell it, I am just hoping to add on at this point BUT only time and economy will tell!!

Didn't know you owned a clk before that was a nice interior. I just seen on a my detail forum a florida detailer had the chance to detail your killer sl he really brought that car to its perfect state.

AMGFAN- great minds........!!! I loved mine and still do. I'm glad that my good buddy who is an MB tech bought it and I still see it from time to time.
Still looks awesome and tells me car gets compliments all the time ( of course cuz I built it!! )

Man it's been so long ago...I believe the installer fiberglassed the mounting unit to fit a free air JL 10 and mounted beneath the rear deck...firing through the compartment that had the first aid kit (I think). I'm pretty sure any installer worth their salt could fab it for you...
