THINKING ABOUT SELLING MY BENZ
I HAVENT EVEN OWNED IT FOR ONE YEAR, MY HOMIE BOUGHT A E55 AMG AND I DROVE IT, ITS FAST AS ****! NOW I WANT CLK55 W209 AMG! WHAT DO YOU GUYS THINK? COMMENTS... INPUT?

If you liked the 208 enough to buy the first time, why not stick with it? They do come in 55 trim also ya know!! The 210 is a completely different animal.

TOOK THE WORDS STRAIGHT OUT OF MY MOUTH. If you gonna get a w209 the only W209 worth buying is a CLK63 BS nothing else, not even a CLK55. When I was first purchasing a CLK I had a choice between a w208 and w209 and I settled for the w208 because it is not as common as a w209. I SEE THE W209 every where, more than the BMW 3 series (A little over exaggeration...lol...I see the BMW 3 Series everywhere). Moreover, I feel that the w208 has masculine body lines the accent a Mercedes timeless design...if you know what I mean. The w209 looks a little to feminine for me. But, in the end its YOUR LIFE, its YOUR CHOICE, and its YOUR CAR.

Go for the 05 CLK55.
1. Its a newer car than a w208 clk55.
2. It will more value than a w208.
3. I see w208 clks with cheesy *** rims and cheesy *** people (because its cheaper to get now). Although w208 is still one of my favorites.
4. Its faster than the w208 clk55.
5. You can make any car look good if you do it right.
6. Its your car, your choice

2,3,5,6,and 7 have no factual basis for why the W209 could be better than W208.
Holds more value? The car is more $$ and hasn't aged as much as W208's
Better interior? I'll give u modern, but that doesnt make it better

totally different monsters.
I've tried hard to like the W209 body style, im just glad they re-did it with the C207 which has much better lines.
Serveral friends of mine wanted a CLK but same comment i hear "looks like a chicks car" they opted to E, SLK, and S5. Interesting to see the same comment here on the board.
