What a 6.2 liter V-8 looks like 5 weeks from completion.
When the project started, Brad informed that it could take anywhere from 6 months to a year.
you are a patient man! I wouldn't be able to wait that long. Why is you license in trouble (if you don't mind me asking) ?

WOW! how many more months did ur car be ready?how many hp did you get since you change the whole block and cam etc...and how much did you spend on it?heheheh damn so the engine is from MKB?is V12?Im going to wait in this forum to see the since you are really a patient guy..heheh
Sleestack,
What do you have on your car that is MKB wise?
It sounds crazy your car and best of luck with it
MKB 3.07 differential
MKB sway bars
I am estimating 2 1/2 months until completion. Yes, I am patient, however, I'm also extremely preoccupied so I don't have much time to miss my car. Much of the wait has been because all of the custom parts had to be engineered and manufactured by various 3rd parties. Prior to this round of tuning my car was putting out 490 hp and 470 lb/ft torque. That was the 4.3 liter V8 fitted with the MKB 55 Hypertune kit and Kleemann SC. This round of tuning should get me about 650-700 hp and similar torque numbers but should aslo produce a car with much improved suspension, brakes, chassis rigidity, transmission and aesthetics (IMO of course). The 6.2 liter engine is a bored and sleeved V8, not the MKB V12. As for how much I spent on it... that's b/t me and Evosport, however, in the world of MB tuning, nothing comes cheap. The car should be an absolute beast.
damnnnnn best of luck on ur car ok..maybe some otherdays I can sit beside ur car and burnt it out ..heheheh yeap all european cars parts are damn expensive..heheh

I'm guessing around $110k. For that amount, I'd expect the work to be complete in a timely manner. Quote a date, meet the date.
As for insurance.... to my great surprise, my insurance covers all the mods as long as I send them proof of the work that has been done. My premiums are unaffected. It seems weird, but they have assured me many times that this is the case.
