CustoM Rear Strut Tie bar
Hey everyone. Ok based on the PMs that i have been getting regarding intret in the rear strut tie bar that I made, I have decidedto produce more for sale. You can find the pictures on the other thread. I have designed them to fit the hard top and convetible. please pm me if intrested so i can get a count of how many I need to produce. This will more than likely be the last batch that i will produce because it is very time consuming and not that profitable. click on the link below and you can see pictures and comments.

Does anyone have the pics of CLK-W209 that show two rear struts with the liner off in the trunk? I dont know this custom rear strut tie bar might fit mine as well...

"The W209 CLK-Class is 2.4 inches (61 mm) longer, 0.7 inches (18 mm) wider and 1.1 inch (28 mm) higher than its predecessor.
With the 209 being .7" wider one would think the shocks would be placed wider than the W208 thus requireing the strut bar overall to be longer however, VIPclk320 will make the call, eh.

the strut tie bar fits the w209 perfectly. please put in your orders in order for me to have the final count. i will be working on the front one early nex year and the buyers of the rear bars will get first dibs on the front due to limited production. thank you and have a great weekend everyone.

i'd hate to procrastinate on this product as it may never come up again... like the carlsson bumper group buy way back when.
2 questions:
Would amg models benefit from a rear bar?
And is there enough space under the bar so i can take a nap in the trunk? :p

it's beneficial for all models specially the amgs that have heavier fronts and more tourque. the effects are felt immidiatly after installation. as for the napping you can dismantel it in 2 minutes flat, i made it with the fact in mind that i use my trunk space alot and my car is a daily driver so grocery shopping, ikea lol and it doesn't take much room to begin with and if gets in your way of moving stuff it can be dismanteled very quickly and put back on even faster. you can ask sick430 about his experience.

I have one and I would say that if you put the back seats forward and, if you are not totally large, you could lay on your back with your head towards the front of the car and just drape you legs over the top of the bar as it sits about 2" to 3" above the trunk floor. If you are thinking of any other athletic endeavors that include another humanoid, I'd get a room.

Room would be best but the option available is always nice as the front seats don't go down all the way.
Ash you got me down for me for one!
