No, if you see the wheels in person, they look very little like the 2/5s. Also, I don't think Carlsson makes their wheels, so it would be highly unlikely that they make the Kleemann wheels.

I agree, I've seen them both in person, they look very different.

Carlsson does not make their wheels, they are subcontracted to Ronal and OZ.

None of the tuners make their own wheels. The wheels are designed by the tuner and the build is sbcontracted, usu. to one or both of those companies.

KLEEMANN wheels

I am aware of no tuning company that makes their own wheels. Most tuners are not foundries- subcontracting wheels is standard business. Most tuners can design whatevr they want in terms of hub and rim design and have a wheel company produce them. KLEEMANN wheels are not produced or contacted through Carlsson. KLEEMANN wheels are not made by Ronal or OZ, but an Italian wheel manufacturer that supplies many third party manufacturers and tuners.

What about getting their supercharger for your 55? When you have 550HP, it doesn't matter what your wheels weigh

Seen the Kleemans in person and the Carlssons- close but no cigar kind of thing. Have you thought about BBS LM's- they are even lighter I believe.

The new BBS wheels are not LMs. They are made out of magnesium, and have a round center rather than the flat one of the LMs. They are not as shiny as the LMs are either. While they are slightly lighter, I've heard that the LMs look nicer and both cost about the same.

There is an interesting article on KLEEMAN conversions re CLK & C-Class mods in this month's "Car & Driver."

Renntech slk 32
If you are looking for light wheels, Renntech says that their 19x9 forged wheel weighs 22 pds! Word is they are working on a 19x10 and a 19x11 inch wheel for certain applications.
