Unhappy PROB WITH MY NEEDLE

THE NEEDLE ON THE SPEEDOMETER HESITATES WHEN I ACCELERATE , IT KINDA JUMPS UP 2 MILES AT A TIME AND DOES NOT MOVE UP SLOWLY AND SMOOTHLY.. ONCE I TAKE MY FOOT OF THE PEDAL, THE SPEED DROP DOWN SMOOTHLY.9NORMAL)
IT HESITATE UNDER 75MPH AND ANYTHING ABOVE, ITS NORMAL.
WHY IS THAT?

It sound like it could be a problem with the speedometer cable.

more than likely the needle is pushed too far in and it gets stuck. take a part the cluster and use a penny to spce the needle out a little, i had the same problem when i did my gauge LEDs and the glow needle kit. it can also happen to untouched clusters over time, if thats not the problem then you need a new cluster because the electric motor that turns the needle has gone bad and it's not an easy fit if thats the case you are just better off changeing the cluster.

The short answer is the speedo will skip like that (2 MPH increments) if one of the wheel speed sensors is dirty. For good reason, I'd start with the left front.

The longer answer involves how the speed is determined and communicated to the speedo.

Spray on brake cleaner. Some use a water hose. If you use compressed air it's horrifically dusty, so you may want to cover your mouth/nose with a damp towel.

This happened to me when I fixed my pixel problem. I simply had pushed the needle on too tight. I'd bet thats your problem, just loosen it a little.
