Question What's best for lowering a '00 CLK430?

What do you guys recommend for lowering a CLK 430? Just lowering spings? Or.....? I haven't decided on either 18" or 19" wheels, does anyone know how many inches you can lower it on either 19's or 18's? I am hoping to lower it as much as possible on either wheel size.

Also, just curious, what do you guys run, suspension wise on your CLks?

Thanks Again...

Almost everyone will tell you to use H&R springs....listen to them. I went with Eibachs because I wanted a more conservative ride, but I was NOT a happy camper. H&R's will drop a lil more and have a stiffer ride but it is worth it. Eibach's supposedly drops 1.2"front and rear, but I have 18"brabus and I still have atleast a two finger gap on front. H&Rs supposedly 1.4front and 1.3rear.

For the best value on your money, get the H&R Cup kit, which comes which shocks & springs.

With the cup kit, do you have to get the alignment kit, coz on the H&R website, it says that the cup kit will cause some negative cambers.

Anybody familiar with the Bilstein suspension system. I remember they have pss and pss9. are they the same as coil over?

Thanks

Nothing wrong with a little negative camber, which you also get with H&R springs alone. The car looks nicer and handles better.

If I use coil over or anything that is height adjustable, when I change the height, do I have to do the alignment again?

Thanks

If you noticed that the car is pulling to one side, any way it is a good idea to align it everytime you work on the suspension.
