Photo | New Drop
I finally decided to drop my car some more after some suggestions from friends and Felix.
So I cut exactly one coil H&R in the front and dropped approximately 1" in the front and the back eventually dropped around 1/4". The front bumper is about 3" off the ground now. I'm back to lowryder again.
wohoo
Thanks to Fab @ EF1 Motorsports.

The drop looks good, could be a tad lower in the rear though. Even still it looks much better now. Nice work. BTW where is EF1motorsports? is it the same as F1motorsports?

I just found out today I tore-up my fromt bumper, I guess i parked it too close to those parking concrete block things, now i need to buy a new bumper!!!!
And all I have is the H&R Cup kit with stock 17" AMG wheels!!!
That's it, I am going to RAISE my car!! I'm going for the off-road look!!!!

Tezta : EF1Motorsport is located in Long Beach, Cherry off 5, it's different from F1Motorsports, they both do good work just that EF1 is closer to me.
xyzpl : It's very hard to drive the car now, I have to go diagnal everywhere I go because the RS front bumper is just too low. But thinking about changing #1 Spring pads to stock ones so it'll lift probly 1/4".
Viktorious : I'm running H&R and Koni Adjustable Shocks, the ride not that stiff because the Koni is backing it up.
hinhin7 : Yeah, it's damn low and if I make a fast turn the tires will rub against the fenders a lil, which can be solved when I changed the spring pads and roll the fenders.
Thanks for the compliments guys, if you want to cut your springs and you happen to live in SoCal, give Fab a call at (562)984-9134, he's very good at this, and he also does alignment which I would recommend all of you to get it done after changing springs. Just tell him Bruce (CLK) sent you, he'll hook u up.

Rolling the fenders will help in the rear but not much in the front. Look at your front fender, there's not much to work with. We have a few 'trade secrets" :p at A-One to get a little more clearance. It may or may not provide adequate clearance for your rubbing problem. The W208s are extemely limited on tire clearance in the front. The biggest pain is usually where the fender and front bumper meet. Where is it rubbing? How's your clearance on the inner interface? Are you rubbing the attach bolt on the upper suspension assy?
BTW, the drop looks awesome
