cd changer cover?????????????

cd changer cover?????????????

Hi,

I recently saw a clk on the net with a cd changer that has a cover. The cover protected the cd changer and was made of the same material as the trunk mat. Does anyone have this? is it aftermarket or can you get this at the dealer, it seems to fit right in the cd changer socket and when closed, you would never know a changer is there. thanx in advance for any help on this

Mine has a cover; not sure if it's aftermarket or not. Changer was in the car when I bought it.

Yes, it comes with the Changer from MB if ordered with the car. It maybe be a separate item if you buy the changer from a stealership on a car that didn't come with one.

When I got my 2002 CLK, it didn't have a cd changer and I ordered it thru the dealer. It came with the cover so I think it's a dealer option.

Used to be a CLK430

My 99 also has a flip cover which is the same color as the carpet. It is actually removeable and attaches to the 'can' the CD changer sits in.

Ordered my changer at the dealership before I picked up my car. They installed it with the carpet coverd cover (and the Mercedes Benz insignia and three point star).

Pretty cool.

The SLK or the S class don't have this option (at least not the ones in my family)
