Trunk button light on; trunk is closed...
Hey guys, it's been a while...
I just got my car back from the body shop where I had a small dent repaired on the rear driver's side. Not too big of a deal...
But now, the button that opens the trunk on the center console area, the light is on while my trunk is closed. It will still open the trunk just fine, but constantly stays on...
I thought I saw a thread about this a long time ago, but I couldn't find it in the search.
Any help would be appreciated, fellas.

open your trunk, while the lid is open look at the edge of the lid on the left side and you will see a gray push switch. push it in a few times it might have some dust around it, if hat didn't work look at the carpet around the lock assembly and make sure the edges are tucked in under the black housing around the lock assembly and also make sure the switch is clipped all the way in from the back.

Thanks for aids guys! And no, not the disease.
Turns out it was fuse #5 in the trunk. I didn't notice to begin with, but my trunk dome light was out too. The fuse fixed both problems.
I talked to one of the guys, and one of the *******s left my trunk lid open all night. Good thing I've got 3 batteries back there...

Just wondering... why do you have 3 batteries back there? Does your stereo need a lot of power? or were they just extra that you had back there for whatever reason..?
