heated seats- anyway to keep them on?

2000 clk 430. I turn the heated seat on II and it stays on for like the usual 10 mins or so then drops down to setting I.

I know this is an intended "feature" to stop me from burning myself. but I just end up keep hitting it back up to II every 10 mins or so.

any way to keep the seats on II?

Its not so much to keep you from burning yourself but to protect the cars electrical systems from overload.

I doubt it. Unless your hardcode something, you can't change this setting.

I would really like to know this as well. It is a pain to keep turning the seats on. I have a CLS55 and would love to get some info on this.

This made me LOL.

In other words: Never mind the whole safety thing or the possible damage to my car, I need to know how to keep from touching a button once every 10 minutes.

You will have to create your own power circuit, and bypass the vehicles timers and control.

not a very admirable query.

Cheers, Gator
