Then awhat you have left is the 550s which are 388HPs and the 55k and 63 and so on. so for a V6 this 32k is a beast and no hassle for changing, but socal i know what you mean that rumbble of the V8 is priceless i cant waite to do my conversion and you know your doing the engine transplant for me brotther just sourcing the parts right now.
Maybe I've just been in Japan too long but they have showed me here that you don't need a big engine to have a nice rumble or to go fast. That is one of the things that Japanese here talk about when they compare tuning differences between the US and Japan. It actually becomes a session. Hope I'm not starting something.

The more pressure I get to do this mod the higher it goes up on my list. I'm now thinking about making this my 2nd or 3rd mod depending on how it goes with PowerChip. If I'm halfway satisfied with PowerChip then the Engine swap will be at the bottom of the list. The reason I'm gambling on PowerChip is because they said they don't have the same restrictions on tuning as they do back in the States so they can go buck-wild to give me a real nice tune. They will have my car on their Dyno and continue to tune until my money says stop

LOL. Honestly brother, if you are highly considering the engine swap, i would personally do the swao and have them reflash your ECU to tune up around the new engine, because that way you can keep your existing ECU. But its up to you. I have the same mentality, money doesn't grow on trees, so go the route that is easiest on the wallet cuz after all having a faster car is not worth being in debt!

+ you have the 3.07 diff & you have the Japanese spec exhaust. Your car will fly.

Go with the 3.2 Kompressor and you'll be added to 2011 Webster's Dictionary under Baller: adj. [slang] someone who has it all; Jimmy WiLL (original owner of the W208 32K)

LOL, couldnt agree with you more Marcus. I have never driven in a 32K car but i've seen a SLK 32K vs. E46 M3 and it was not a pretty sight for the M3. I think with minor tunning it will take the 55s and with major tunning such as pullies and heat exchanger etc it will take down the 55Ks as well. what do you think?

I drove both the CLK and SLK on the same day on the big track at Willow Springs. They were both bone stock press cars. With the top up, I thought the SLK32 was faster than the 55. According to my notes, the 32 was marginally faster to 60, and in the quarter, and had a higher trap speed. That's all marginal – a tenth or two and two MPH. The SLK32 has a 3.07 final drive too. Jimmy's car will rip.

I drove the E55K too. It's hard to envision the 32K every putting out that much power. Those 55K motors are ABSOLUTE BEASTS. They make power everywhere. The E is too big for Willow, but down the front straight the E55 is "scary/never stops pulling/I hope the brakes aren’t toast" fast.
