Are you an obsessive CLK owner? Heck, I just use Turtle Wax. Is anyone else like me?

I can't stand spending an entire day washing, waxing and buffing my silver 55. All those nooks and crannies make waxing such a pain. I run it through the touchless carwash, and then spray some of that clear Turtle Wax on it and wipe it off. I guess it's better than nothing, which is what I used to do.

Is anyone else not super obsessed with Zaino Bros et all, or is it just me?

Hmmm...I never wash my own car. The guys down the street do a really good hand wash and wax for 30.00. They do a really good job.

About 15 minutes from where I live, there is a store called "The Driver's Seat". They have all the little tid bit accessories you could ever want. They have an enormous selection of waxes, and in this giant case with a chrome bottom and rear wall there is a bottle of wax which is in a fancy looking glass bottle, looks sort of like something you would buy at Mayor's Jewelers or something along those lines. Well after gazing at the amazing casing display, I looked down and saw a little tag that said $1500.00! Thats right... I said One Thousand, Five Hundred dollar wax! It's not even a lot of wax, it's just an average amount. I know some people are overly crazy about their cars, but 1500 bucks on a little bottle of wax... that is insane! I wonder if anyone has ever bought it before and what type of car it was going on. Mabye i'll pick up a bottle when I get my C32 .

And Lorinser CLK, if you are reading this, The Drivers Seat is right where the new Barnes and Nobles and P.F. Changs is. Right next to the Circuit City .

Hmmm, Some massage parlors have the same thing. A normal priced bottle of massage oil, and right next to it, a really expensive bottle of the same oil.

Lee2375, you're lucky to have something so close and convenient. It's all about convenience for me too- hence the yucko Turtle Wax.

I would bet it's Zymol. They sell wax for $1500. Personally I don't think anyone really buys it but is good for garage talk.
There's a Drivers Seat in Boca on Federal Hwy also.

Yes ,To justify the exorbitant price I hear Zymol adds a very exotic and costly ingredient....."cumofsumyunggai"

Yeah, it was Zymol. Buy it and put it on display over the fireplace or something, lol.
