CLK430 (W208)
Hello,
I have installed the same headlight last week.
Just look at this link:
http://mercedes-benz.forumactif.com/...res-t50248.htm

Of course it's in french !!

But don't worry, the first pics are in english and for the second part, you just need to follow the red arrows to unscrew the different parts.
Just one remark, I have posted the pics only for the left side of the car, but this work is absolutely symetrical

Best regards.

99CLK320,
I'have replaced the drivers side headlight bucket by first removing all mounting points and wiring, then move the light bucket around. you will see that you can "almost" get it out. I just freed up the fender by removing some of the bolts in the channel at the top of the fender. then just pull the front of the fender out a bit and the headlight bucket comes right out. don't have to remove the entire front bumper.

Remove the bumper. Like DropTop430 said.... do it the right way... it's really not that difficult. Just take your time and go for it.
