Very easy DIY......only needs a screwdriver and 10 minutes time.

If this caused the CEL to come on, it will turn off after 3 cold starts.

If you're due for a state emissions inspection, some OBDII senors will need to reset to a 'ready' condition, which will take a couple of hundred miles of drive time.

plug and drive, if it was not installed right, the engine light will come on and means air is leaking out.
make sure its tight and snugged good

Only mistake people make is not seating the air filter intake onto the MAF...other than that, it's plug and go.

All he was going to reset was the error code and even that goes away on its own after driving it for a while. The only issue would have been if you were getting the car smog inspected soon after. In that case it would have been beneficial to get the error removed...but at 150 I would have found someone else to do it. Glad we could help you out!!
