Side of the freeway with busted tire
I am on the side of the freeway bored and waiting on mb roadside assistance! One of my tire sidewalls just blew out and since I worked on the car the night before last putting on shocks my lug nut wrench is sitting pretty in my garage floor. Anyway I know this is nothing worthy of being posted but I am bored lol. Now back to waiting!!!!!!

ack that sucks bro, once i left this tire shop to go to the alignment shop, and on the way home from the alignment, my tire blew in the shape of a C around my rim. N then the shop had the nerve to blame the alignment shop after they misbalanced it. good luck!

I am running Michelin's from Discount Tire. They will replace it for free this afternoon but my bent rim is a totally different story. We dont have a rim repair place here in San Antonio and the closest one is in Houston. Every other repair place has to ship them out and has a 2 week turn around. I have also called junk yards to see if it would just be cheaper to buy a used rim but no one has a CLK in their yard.
This sucks A** man!

I actually like those rims better than mine because they have the rivets and mine don't, but nope I don't know a freakin soul there!

Shipping would run you about $200. I'm considering just buying them to polish them myself and flip....but I'm already up to my knees in AMG wheels.

Alloy Wheels was able to repair the rim after all
!!! It ended up costing me 135 bucks but it was WAY cheaper than buying some new rims. The 19's are still on the schedule just wasn't ready to do the deal right now.
