Suspension question?

I recently had a sub box installed, and it's weighing down the rear, so I want to lower the front to even it out. Can I just drop the front, and leave the rear stock, or is this a bad idea? I have an Eibach Pro kit that I'm planning on using, and I'm thinking if I install the rears it'll sag lower in the back due to the weight of the subs... TIA...

99CLK320,
You are probably right. Depending on what number spring pad you have you may be able to lower the front end by installing a #1 spring pad. you can get them from the dealer, just ask for the E model #1 spring pad. The difference between the #5 and the #1 is .67 inches. how much do you need?

It's only 3/8 of an inch lower in the back than the front, but there is so much fender gap in the front that it appears to the eye to look far worse...The springs I bought are supposed to lower it 1-1.5 inch, so I figured I'd just do the fronts first , and see how it looks, and rides first before messing with the back...
