Window bounce

How many times should it take mercedes to fix a bouncy window problem, they have had my car 3 times now for this problem. when the windows get wet, they bounce up and down while going up or down... has anyone else have/or had this problem? and what did they do to fix it?

I've had this problem, too. Does it seem to be getting stuck on something? Or is it simply bouncing? If its simply bouncing, the memory on the control unit is probably messed up and when that happend on mine, they replaced that unit. I'm not exactly sure what part that is, but I'm sure MBTech208 or mmgrad could be of much more help. ;0) Good Luck

they are just bouncing, its both sides and they make noise when they go up and down, but only when they are wet, and apparently mb cant spare the water to put on the windows to see the problem....

When the rubber gets wet it tends to get sticky you need to have the rubber lubricated to keep it smooth. I'm not sure what to use because my detail shop does it for me. I would assume anything that can be used on a rubber surface that acts a a lubricant should work just fine.
