Need Some New Rims...Suggestions?

i'm in the market for some new rims..want 18inchs..with a nice lip not too fat and not too thin. yalls got ne suggestions? thanks

gotta love those Carlsson rims... only thing i would do different is to get the 2/5 which are multi-piece rims... i just like the multi-piece look a little more.

Brabus mono V & VI are nice also, but dam heavy and dam expensive.

Lowenhart BR5 are my favorite rims for the CLK. i'm sure you can search this forum to find examples of each.

this brabus would be my all time favorite ( sry that i just borrow the pic )

mmgrad , those brabus are very heavy .... ? if compare to the same size of AMG , still much heavier than AMG ? thx

I bought Brabus rims once based purely on aesthetics.... don't make the same mistake. They look great but their multipiece rims are ridiculously heavy for the performance minded MB owner. If you have any concerns about unsprung weight, I would look for a lighter rim.

don't quote me, but i'm quite sure the Brabus Mono V multipiece is heavier than any of the current AMGs, like in a 19

I believe, for 19" mono V 2-piece, each rim alone weighs in at about 36lbs. Thats a lot of added weight/per wheel
