Ever since I got the car @ 69k miles, I'm averaging 25.9 mpg. If I'm easy on the gas the whole tank, I can probably get about 350-360 miles until I'm at 1.4 gal.

It's times like this I'm glad I didn't get a 55 or a Brabus B10.

Hwy driving, easy on the pedal,I consistently get23+ mpg (US) that is over 10 kmpl. And i do a lot of hwy driving, so i have measured it more than once.

Ofcourse when I use the power of the amg 55 cabrio, it all goes south - but that is not what u were asking!!!

I mainly drive on the freeway and average about 360 sometimes 380.

my commute is mostly highways, with a 320 I get 25-27 mpg which lets me roll a little over 400 miles on a tank

tire pressures up, windows up on the highway, drive the speed limit, don't idle, accelerate slowly... iow all the reasons you didn't buy a clk

I think the key is to set the CC. That's a V8 going from So Cal to the bay area with the AC on.

Also, it helps to turn the A/C compressor off by switching to EC and turn off recirculation.

I average 16MPG around town. I don't flog it very often. On longer trips I hit 23MPG pretty easy, and best I've seen was 25MPG even. One tank will usually get me around 220 miles in town, and 300+ on the highway.

Ive been getting 25.9 on average Driving to work and back in Dallas. I recently took a trip to Galveston and got over 440+ on a tank and the car registered around 30.5 mpg for a few hours of highway driving at 70 mph . All I've done was replace the Air filter with a K&N drop in filter and did regular Oil changes with mobil 1. and changing out the spark plugs about every 30k. Really this is the best car I've ever had when it comes to Gas Mileage- 2000 CLK 320

I put it on CC mainly in the mornings. HWY traffic is light for me. I get better then 28. But in the PM hours I have to turn it off. and my MPG goes south.

Here in the UK (where petrol is the price of gold) I have got upto 40mpg showing once on the dash readout in my CLK 320 cabrio.
I was forced to drive at 50mph over a distance of about 90miles due to the UK roadworks and it went up and up.
I was so shocked I took a picture of it!

On normal long runs I get around 35-37mpg. (my diesel Smart car does 75mpg!)

after a chip tune at 65mph I got 32mpg. Now that I have a SprintBooster it has gone down. I drive too fast.
