Tires and Tire Pressure for 19's

What does everyone run on that has 19's on there CLK. They are hard tires to come by. So I was wondering what brand and also what pressure do you put in the front and rear. I've been running on Yokohoma's but am looking for a new type of tire.

You can get Pirelli P7000 or some S03 (not sure if they have applications for 19"". I'm running p7000 on my fronts and s02's on the rear. I currently have them pumped to about 40 psi cold

tires

The hardest thing to find is the same brand tire that has 235/35/19 fronts and 265/30/19 rears. Does Toyo have that? What other brands are there. I had Yokohomas, and know of Dunlops, Hancooks, thats about it.

I think there are several brands that has the 235/35/19 and 265/30/19:
Dunlop, Yokohama, COntinental, Nitto and probably Toyo

Why do people pump their 19in tires up to 39?
Isn't it around 33 or 34 the suitable air pressure?

Thanks,

Solihin

I had Nitto NT555 before, the tires are very hard, makes loud noise when driving, but last a lot longer.

I have Toyo T1-S right now, they grip better and very quiet compare to the nittos, the ride is softer too. Highly recommend.

Solihin- it is recommended to run bigger rims at higher psi because if it stays low at 33-34, the tire is too soft, and when you hit a pothole... you will be quite sorry.

even though pumping it to 39-40 psi won't guarentee you will walk away from a pot hole damage free, it reduces the chances by a lot lot lot more.

My experience with the Toyo T1-S has been the best! it is one awesome tire. Quiet, soft, grips like glue.... but at a price, since it has a soft composition for performance, these tires don't last very long... but of course, that also has a lot to do with your driving style.

Tires

Thanks guys for all the info. I inflated my new tires higher and ther ride is great! I ended up getting Hancook's! They actually are really reasonable for the price. I'll see how long they last!
