Bump for the best lights available. Check out post #33. I bought a set of city lights in June of 2011. I'm still using the same bulbs and have never had an error light.

By user request, we're working on a new product for those with painted sidemarkers and don't want any lights showing but also no error codes. This will be a circuit board design straight plug in replacement with no actual LED light source. We are in user testing right now, but hope to have it available sometime in Aug.

LED LIGHTS for W208
Hi all in MB world,
I have recently changed all my front lights on my CLK320 Cab to LED...the difference is amazing !!!!! , I have chosen colour K6000 ...(closest to pure day light..slight blueish hue)..H7 is readily available in AU via Ebay just be sure to check seller info and feed back .... be very careful of China sellers as they can be a little "misleading". buy local as I did and all should be good..** Price does also indicate quality. care fully check the sellers actual specs..
I tested each light on installation for error display ..ALL GOOD.... Beware that for Main and Hi Beam they must be fitted with can bus to avoid error..
""NOTE"" When installing these be VERY gentle re installing the retaining clip as the plastic holding tab could Break.....just take your time to fit them ..Left side of the car ia doddle.. to about 10 minutes..
The right hand side is a little more of an issue .. you will need to remove the air box feed and the lid to gain easy access.. 5/10 difficulty..
I run HID kits in my other 3 vehicles and they are very good but .... In the future I will be swapping them out for the new LED/Cob Technology the results are AAA+
Hope this helps if you are thinking of changing
Cheers to all

A point of emphasis.... LEDs will not outperform HIDs in housing designed for halogen light spread in forward projecting lights (low, high, and to a degree fogs). That's because LEDs have surface mounted point spread so you don't get even brightness distribution across 360. This results in dark spots, light scatter, and reduced throw distance. LEDs are suitable for indication type lighting (markers, signals, parking, etc) or low throw distance (interior, rear plate, maybe fogs etc). That's not to say LEDs won't easily outperform halogens... they will as they just brute force more lux, but you'll get better performance with an HID solution as it's true 360 output. Either way, we can supply both HIDs and LEDs and ship internationally with all our units canbus enabled and configured to work with your MB SAM.

Only 6 sets left of LED blanks for those with painted sidemarkers and want no lighting and no errors 194 Blanks. With supply chain issues due to Covid19 with our manufacturing in South Korea, not sure when we'll be able to get new units in.
