This is why I cannot bring myself to buy and install aftermarket headlamps.

It's probably due to a crappy seal job from the lens to the housing. It could also be that those plugs that go into the back of the housing unit either are missing or not seated completely (the ones you have to take out when you're replacing a light bulb). Hopefully it's the latter as that's an easier fix (just buy a new one). If it's the former, my advice:

- bake the housings and open them up
- clean off the old sealant and remove all moisture from inside the housing
- liberally apply some new sealant around the outer edges on the housing
- put the lens back on and you should be good

ah sorry to hear mike, its weird bcuz i have a set and so far, no haze. Have you considered getting the 3M clear headlight cover? Its the same concept as the 3M clear bra's but supposedly i heard theres a pre-cut cover for our headlamp. If anything i guess you would have to polish out the haZe n then apply the sticker. Let me know if you cant find em, cuz theres a local guy that does 3M custom wraps and he was the one who mentioned it to me. If you want i can order thru him for ya if you cant find it. Sorry to hear that bro ... I have no problem with my projector headlights they are clear ! I would try to rinse them off with Mr clean car wash system so there is no water spot but you got to remove lights bulbs and make sure is sunny out side nice and hot so they can dry in about 20 minutes or you can use a air blow gun to remove water from inside the housing, just make sure not to apply to much air pressure, or even a hair dryer can do the tick to remove water from inside,

and finally make sure that the bulbs sockets are tightly sealed and also the rubber piece that covers the back of housing !! Cause if there is any moisture in the air it will fog (haze) any headlight assembly that is not properly sealed !! good luck

if it is fogging up (condensation on inside) then there is heated vapor coming
through a rear opening.

if you are seeing large drops, streaming...or a pool of water, then it is likely
to be a fracture in seam.

many aftermarket headlights have rear vents and water hitting the hot engine
generates steam, when then migrates through the vent.

it is also possible that after the new bulb was inserted, the rear hatch was
not properly seated and sealed.

i have got these style lights on, you should check the vent is not closed, and you should be sure that when you cut up the bulb seals for xenon you didn't take too much material out. have mine from last year and they never fogged up.

I found out what was the prob and i hope it remains good. First day today, i actually looked at em from behind and i noticed there was like 6 white caps, and i removed the caps and i guess its more like a vent or so... IT dried out and never came back.
The shop forgot to unplug those white caps and prob solved.
I will post a pic tomorrow as well ( the car and my new headlights)

ps: the halo lights, takes one h7 and h1 but was size bulb is underneath that h1??? i want something blue to match my others.
is it 194???

What show, where? What will you come in at? What are you coming down from? I hurt my back doing Sumo Deadlifts, left shoulder doing who knows what, right knee not sure. I'm at 210, normal weight was around 180, I'll diet down to about 195 for summer.

Send me some show pictures and good luck with the show. With the amount of injuries you've had I was wondering when and if you would return to stage. Good luck, Lil Man.

you're going to have to answer that one. MB/OEM came with W6W bayonet bulbs.
because you have an aftermarket unit, it will be whatever the manuf decided to use.
for example, Depo eschews the H6W for W5s which sports a wedge base design.

so unless someone else here has the same halo headlight (not many do), you may
simply need to pull it out for a peek.

I just received my projectors from x3racing, I noticed the white caps too, so your saying they need to be removed? all of them or just a few? Do you have any recommendations for me on install, like the halo's or the light cut off? How do you like them?

these are my Aznmike CREE LED modules. no error msg. have been running
them for about 2 months now. low beams next to them are E55
projectors stuffed into a Depo housing, using 4500º Philips bulbs (forget
the model#)
